If you’re looking for fun and engaging activities to do with your family this winter, look no further than the Winter Families Unplugged Workshops. All throughout the winter season the Office of Youth & Family Programs in Arlington will be hosting workshops for parents and children.
Running from December 10th to February 25th, these workshops aim to build the relationship between parents and their children in a productive and fun atmosphere. Events like the Yoga & Healthy Snack Project will educate parents and children on healthy nutrition, and it features a yoga class with a leading expert from the area. The Puppet Playtime at the Carver Community Center includes a puppet show and a workshop that encourages children and parents to create their own unique puppets.
Tickets to the Winter Families Unplugged Workshops cost $8 per session and can be purchased by visiting registration.arlingtonva.us and entering the activity number 730017. Art classes are aimed at children 3 and up while the fitness courses are oriented towards children 8 years or older.
