If you’re having trouble saying so long to summer after the Labor Day holiday, don’t miss the last few Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga classes from Mind Your Body Oasis. Instructor Amanda has been leading these popular classes all summer, and there are two more in September to enjoy the warm summer air and calm water.
Don’t worry if you aren’t a paddle board expert; each class includes all the basics you need to get familiar with standing and balancing on the board, as well as basic paddle strokes. The yoga portion of the class is very informal, with a majority of it just focusing on the yogi breath and simple poses. Sign up for the 90-minute class, and you’ll receive the location to meet up the day before the session. Mind Your Body Oasis includes the paddle board rental in their $50 class fee, or your can supply your own for $10 off. Classes begin at 6 p.m., just in time to enjoy the setting sun.
