A nightclub, a music venue, a private event space, or a chill rooftop bar — Clarendon Ballroom can be all of these, depending on what you’re looking for. In 2000, the team behind Clarendon Ballroom purchased the art Woolworth Building on Wilson Boulevard near the Clarendon metro and renovated the space into one of the area’s biggest nightclubs.
With over 3,000-square-feet of dance floor in the main ballroom alone and an 80-foot bar, Clarendon Ballroom is a great place for dancing. On the weekends you’ll find local musical acts and touring DJs filling the dance floor with music ranging from big band to EDM in an atmosphere that’s a little more laid-back than your average club scene. If you’re looking for something even more relaxed, head upstairs, where you can chill on a brand new rooftop deck with a covered bar, plenty of seating, and rotating drink specials.
