Thai Eatery is a locally owned mom-and-pop restaurant located on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington. It serves a combination of Thai and Mongolian food, and while its popularity makes it seem like this place has been around forever, it’s actually only been open a short time.
The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with plenty of small, wooden tables lined up side by side in the restaurant’s clean, modern dining room. The menu features Thai classics like veggie and shrimp spring rolls served with sweet chili dipping sauce, spicy chicken satay, and pad Thai noodles topped with plenty of sprouts and peanuts. Yelpers particularly praise the beef bone broth soup (a light meal for hot summer days) and the Mongolian-style “buuz” dumplings, stuffed with spiced meat and onions. Insider tip: you can request that your meal be prepared mild, medium, or hot, and regulars say that the when in doubt, you should definitely choose mild!
