Hot food, cold beer, and live music form the perfect trifecta at the Columbia Pike Blues Festival every year. The annual celebration will unfold for the 24th year on Saturday, June 15th at the intersection of Columbia Pike and South Walter Reed Drive. That’s where the main stage gets set up for a full day of live music, starting at 1 p.m. and running until 8:30 p.m.
Admission is free, so round up a few friends and come out to this year’s Columbia Pike Blues Festival. The performers include headliner Sugarray Rayford, AKA the 2019 Soul Blues Male Artist of the Year, alongside Detroit songstress Thornetta Davis, DC-Based band Hardway Connection, and many more. Enjoy a pint from New District Brewing Company, a bite from Cantina Mexicana or Sloppy Mama’s Barbeque, and shopping items from local artisans.
